Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an important security measure to protect your account. This article will guide you through the process of setting up 2FA for your Subly account.
Step 1: Navigate to authentication settings
Go to Account Settings, by clicking "Account" from the user menu. Then, navigate to the "Authentication" tab.
Click on the "Add method" button to begin the setup process. You will be prompted to link an authentication app to your account. We recommend using Authy, but any other authenticator app like should work fine.
Step 2: Scan QR Code
Open the authentication app on your mobile device and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
Step 3: Enter code from your auth app
Once you have scanned the QR code, your authentication app will generate a code. Enter this code into the field below the QR code and click "Verify" to complete the setup process.
Congratulations, you have successfully enabled Two-Factor Authentication for your account. From now on, every time you log into Subly, you will be required to enter the code generated by your authentication app. This provides an extra layer of security to protect your account from unauthorized access.
