  3. Importing subscriptions from a CSV file

If you're looking to import a large number of subscriptions into Subly, you'll be pleased to know that it supports CSV imports. This can save you a lot of time and effort when it comes to adding new subscriptions to your account. In this article, we'll walk you through the process of importing subscriptions from a CSV file.

Step 1: Access the Import Page

To begin importing subscriptions from a CSV file, first, click on the "Add Subscription" button. A modal to search for popular services will be displayed. In this modal, click on the "Import CSV" link.

Step 2: Select Project

Once you've clicked on the "Import CSV" link, you'll be redirected to a new page where you can select the project you want to add the subscriptions to. Once you've selected a project, click on the "Upload File" button to select your CSV file.

Step 3: Upload File

A new window will pop up, asking you to upload your CSV file. Once you've selected your file, click on "Next" to proceed.

Note: A CSV template file can be downloaded at the top left of this window.

Step 4: Select Header Row

Once you've selected your file, you'll be prompted to select the header row. The default selection is the first row, which is the most common case, but you can select another row if you need to. Click on "Next" to proceed.

Step 5: Map Columns

In this step, you'll need to map the columns in your CSV file to the fields in Subly. Subly will attempt to auto-populate the fields for you, but you may need to manually map the columns if there isn't an exact match. Once you've mapped all the necessary columns, click on "Next" to proceed.

Step 6: Verify Data

At this stage, you'll be able to see a table view of the data that you're about to import. Any missing data will be highlighted in red, allowing you to edit it directly in the table. Once you're happy with the data, click on "Submit" to begin the import.

Step 7: Wait for Import to Finish

The final step is to wait for the import to finish processing. This may take some time, so it's important not to close or reload the window during this process. Once the import is complete, you'll be automatically redirected to the main page, where you'll be able to see all of your newly imported subscriptions.

And that's it! By following these simple steps, you can easily import subscriptions from a CSV file into Subly. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
