In this article, we'll walk you through the process of adding a one-time expense in Subly, so you can easily track your purchases and stay on top of your finances.

Step 1: Add expense

Adding a one-time expense in Subly is the same process as adding a subscription. First, click on the "Add subscription" button on top right of the screen.

Fill in the necessary details for your one-time expense. You can add the same details for one-time expenses as for subscriptions (name, website, category, tags, amount, currency, etc..)

 

Step 2: Set the expense type

Under the "expense" section, you'll find a field for Expense Type. Since we're adding a one-time expense, you will need to change the expense type to One-Time.

 

 

Step 3: Add a reminder (optional)

Set a Reminder One of the most useful features of Subly is the ability to set reminders for expenses. When you add a one-time expense, you can set a reminder for things like a refund deadline. This is particularly helpful for purchases like LTDs (software lifetime deals) and other purchases in which you have a period of refund.

 

Step 4: Save your expense

Save Your Expense Once you have filled in all the necessary details for your one-time expense, click on the "Save" button to save it.
